Detention and Retention Tanks for Stormwater Management
To manage stormwater in residential areas, some councils require developments and re-developments to have an on-site detention and retention system. Kingspan On-Site Detention (OSD) Tank systems can be easily adapted to meet your requirements.
For any development, one of the easiest solutions is to use a rainwater tank to help meet Water Sensitive Urban Design requirements by council.
A rainwater tank to collect the water from the roof then use the water for toilet flushing and decrease the use of the mains water supply.

Kingspan OSD tanks are supplied with easy to install detention kits (available in 100m and 150mm) which includes a double junction with inspection cap, detention tank signage and an orifice plate. The orifice plate is designed to restrict the flow of water being release back to the environment and can be easily cored on-site to the specified diameter. Our innovative High-flow filter is a popular choice to add to our OSD systems.
Most OSD systems are site specific so it is recommended that hydraulic plans are provided for accurate quoting.
