If your water tank is not filling up after a rain event, please follow these steps to diagnose the issue.
- Check your high-flow filter is clean. If you are not sure how then follow the steps in this video – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-wcMo33bGQ.
- If you have a filter sock on your high-flow trial your system with the filter sock removed.
- If the high-flow filter is clean or you don’t have one check your charged line/down pipes. If you have a high-flow the water level in the charged line should be up to the bottom of the screw cap. If you have a first flush system installed instead of a high-flow the down pipes should be holding water to approximately the height of the top of your tank. Just tap on your down pipes to see if they sound hollow or full.
- If your charged line is empty then this is a drainage issue and not a fault with your tank. Contact your builder or plumber to investigate further.
