Every site presents unique challenges, and sometimes the biggest constraint isn't the available land, it's the structure itself.
The Project
For this single dwelling residential project, the objective was to deliver substantial water storage capacity within a highly restricted footprint. Internal structural walls limited layout options and created a series of obstacles that would have made many traditional storage solutions impractical.
The project required a solution that could adapt to the site, rather than forcing the site to adapt to the storage system.
The Challenge
The development has limited available space within the building footprint, with structural wall configurations restricting layout options.
The Solution
Kingspan's Aquacomb modular storage system was configured specifically to work around the wall limitations, allowing the available space to be utilised far more effectively than would have been possible with conventional tank layouts.
Because each module can be arranged to suit site-specific requirements, the storage solution was tailored to fit within the project's constraints while still achieving the desired capacity.
Even with persistent rainfall and challenging ground conditions during installation, the modular nature of the system enabled efficient assembly and integration into the build.
The Outcome
- Storage system customised to suit the site layout
- Maximum utilisation of a constrained footprint
- Adapted around structural wall limitations
- Maintained project design objectives
- Successful installation despite wet-weather challenges
Why Aquacomb?
This project highlights one of Aquacomb's key advantages: the ability to deliver high-capacity water storage solutions where conventional tanks simply cannot fit.
When available space is limited and every square metre matters, AquaComb provides the flexibility to design around the challenge.
